‘Oil and Gas’ modules leave for offshore instalment with partial wrap.

A project spanning five months to partially shrink-wrap modules heading onto oil rigs in the North Sea has been completed. The modules are part of refurbishment work being undertaken offshore, so needed partial protection to deter the elements and wildlife from the fitted air callers and fan cowls, before it’s onsite fitting. The last of the ‘wraps’ was completed prior to Christmas, leaving Sheffield for the Hartlepool Docks to wait for shipment.
